Personal Program (coaching for individual parents, for couples, or for families)

Parenting an older teen or twenty-something can feel overwhelming, especially when you're navigating uncharted territory. But you don’t have to face these challenges alone. My coaching program is designed to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and a plan tailored to your unique situation.

Here’s how we’ll work together:

  • Four 55-Minute Weekly Zoom Sessions: We’ll start with concentrated, hands-on support to uncover your parenting goals, identify obstacles, and begin creating meaningful change.
  • Custom Strategies and Resources: Together, we’ll explore emotional blocks, communication skills, and actionable strategies to help you tackle challenges like:
    • Setting healthy boundaries with your emerging adult living at home.
    • Knowing when to help vs. letting natural consequences teach the lesson.
    • Clarifying financial boundaries and support.
    • Fostering healthier communication between you and your emerging adult.
  • Six 30-Minute Upkeep Calls: After the initial four weeks, I’ll continue to provide guidance and support to help you stay on track, typically over 4-6 months.

Plus, you’ll have email support between sessions to address any pressing concerns or questions.

Some families find that their emerging adult wants to be part of the process. If that’s the case, we’ll still dedicate the first session exclusively to you as the parent(s) to lay the foundation for a healthier family dynamic.

Change doesn’t happen overnight, but it can start today. Stop white-knuckling your way through parenting challenges. Commit to a month of focused support and a maintenance plan that will give you the tools and confidence to create the positive change you’re seeking.

Let’s turn your frustration into forward momentum. Schedule your first session today and take the first step toward the peace and connection you and your family deserve.

What People Are Saying:

If you would have told me a year ago that by investing in my parenting I could make the kind of changes I was able to make in the relationships with my sons (instead of always thinking it was something they were not doing....or doing wrong) I would not have believed you. Kim was the sounding board I needed to decipher what was MY work to do, and what I had to let my kids figure out for themselves. I really didn't think it was possible to have a better relationship with my two sons, we'd been fighting for months. I'm glad I took the time, put in the work, and made the investment in my parenting...even at this late date!

JF, Dad of 2 adult sons

I learned a lot about myself in the process of getting some much needed coaching from Kim. You can tell she listens to understand and she was able to get to the heart of what was really going on in our family. Not only that, she helped my husband and I start talking the same language to our three 20-somethings, I thought this was a lost cause. We'd tried both marriage counseling and family therapy in the past but coaching was different...and [thank God] in our case, more effective. While our relationships with our kids still aren't perfect (and I'm not sure that's possible anyway), we've learned how to talk so they will listen, and listen so they are willing to talk with us. Problem solving together has been greatly improved since we've had Kim's guidance. I recommend her services!

KM, mother of 3 emerging adults

When I think of the amount of money we spent trying to get our daughter the "right" or best help over the years, thinking we were doing all we could, it makes me sad. Now I realize that while she needed help, so did we! The unbiased, calm, trusted space Kim provides in her sessions have truly helped us to see the core issues with our daughter, and we have developed better communication skills with her, and we were finally able to set and adhere to the boundaries we'd needed all along. I just wish we'd have known about Kim's coaching sooner. I'd recommend your services to any parent who is at a loss on how to work with their emerging adult with mental health challenges.
